RACING ROYALTY—In his first-ever horse show appearance, 11-year-old Royal F J, who was retired sound this past October with nine wins from 102 starts and earnings of $568,150, made a stunning appearance this past Saturday at the Thoroughbred Classic Horse Show at Galway Downs. Sponsored by CARMA, the TCHS showcased a number of retired racehorses who are now excelling in after-racing careers. Shown by Jenny Earhart, of Premier Equine Rehab in Orange, CA, Royal F J took a Championship ribbon in the War Horse classification.
